R 10 Wigrd RD
Groups Three and Six. (RD) Abbreviated Spelling WIGRD.
There are twenty coins in this group, fifteen with a right facing bust and five with a left facing bust. There are only two styles of obverse in the right facing group of fifteen coins and three styles of reverse in the left facing group. There are six coins in the group RD 1/1 , this is the largest number in a group in the survey.
Coins highlighted in grey have LEFT facing heads/busts.
RD type one. This group do not have any pellets in the annulets on the obverse.

Reverse type 2 has a pellet within the central annulet on the reverse.
RD type RD 1/3 (coin ID 42) would have a reverse as below.
RD type RD 1/5 (coin ID 18) would have a reverse as below.
RD type RD 1/6 (coins ID 21 and ID 50) would have a reverse as below. These two coins are the only ones in the survey with a type six reverse. This style is very similar to that cut onto the reverse flan of some R4 Sceatta.

RD type two. This group has pellets within the annulets on the obverse. As previously mentioned, sometimes the iconography is not as clear as would be liked. RD type three. This group has a left facing bust/head. There are two coins in this group, both RD 3/1. Abramson 210 and EMC 1001.0236. The annulets on the obverse do not have pellets within them neither does the annulet on the reverse.

RD type four. This group also has a left facing bust/head. There are two coins in this group. MEC 8 Fitz 564 and Brit Mus 703. A diagram of this type is below.
